New features in COBISS3
IZUM’s activities are mainly linked to the development and operation of the COBISS system and services that are the basis of the library information system in Slovenia and the library information systems of some other countries, linked in the COBISS.net network. The presentation will highlight the most important new features and updates that were developed in COBISS3 in the past two years. The most active module in terms of releasing updates is Loan, however, the other COBISS3 modules have also been updated. Support to material home delivery, pickup location updates, discounts for paying debts online, link to SAP, calendar, e-manuals and context help, the option of favourite records, defining logical destinations linked to the user’s workstation, support to loan of e-resources, updates for the purposes of school libraries and managing the textbook fund will also be presented.
