Presentation of the new generation of COBISS4/Cataloguing software
The new generation of COBISS4 software will replace the COBISS3 desktop tool with a (modern) web application which is designed to improve the user experience. The COBISS4 application works in web browsers which means that users no longer need to install Java on their workstations and can also use it on various mobile devices.
The basic procedures in the cataloguing process using COBISS4 will be presented: searching for records, cataloguing and editing existing records, linking records with authority records, etc.
The advantages of the new COBISS4 interface compared to COBISS3 will be emphasized.
