Andrej Korošec

Andrej Korošec graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Maribor in 1997. After graduation, he started working at the Institute of Information Science (IZUM). At first, he worked in the Computer Engineering department before joining the SICRIS Information Service unit (now Bibliographies and SICRIS) in 2000 due to his knowledge of relation databases. He has been the head developer of the SICRIS web application since 2003. He lead all major upgrades of the application: transition to the Microsoft .NET environment, expansion of the application to be used in the COBISS.net network, upgrade of the interface to support responsive design, and in 2021 transition into an open-source Java environment.
