Biography
After finishing his studies at the Faculty of Natural sciences and Mathematics at the University of Maribor he started working at IZUM in 2008 as a system administrator for open-source solutions. After successfully completing projects, such as setting up the Libroam wireless network, single sign-on system COBISS AAI and Nagios monitoring system, he accepted the task for designing the mCOBISS mobile app in 2012. During this period he focused a lot of his attention to presenting and promoting the mobile app as well as training end users and librarians. Since 2018, he has been a member of the public relations group where he acts as a “COBISS evangelist” promoting the COBISS system. Nevertheless, his primary responsibilities are still the mobile app and the care for a top-quality user experience.
