Biography

doc.dr.sc.Kristina Feldvari, Department for Information Sciences in Osijek 

Kristina Feldvari is an assistant professor at the Department for Information Sciences of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Osijek in Croatia. In 2008, she graduated at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek and then completed her doctoral degree in information and communication sciences at the University of Zadar in 2014. Her fields of interest are primarily information organisation, information research, information behaviour and searching for information, subject headings and controlled vocabulary searching.

She is actively involved in the work of the Department for Information Sciences and organises meetings, publishes articles and participates in domestic and international associations (ECIL, HCI, LIDA, INFuture, Valis Aurea, etc.). She was a member of the programme and organising committee of the European Summer School on Information Science in Osijek (2019, 2021) and the international Bobcatsss conference (2019). In 2020, the Department of Information Sciences in Osijek has started participating in a two-year Erasmus+ project with the title Digital Education for Crisis Situations: Times when there is no alternative (DECriS), in which she has actively participated. She is also included in the work of the Permanent Committee for the development and maintenance of the Rules for the Description of and Access to Material in Libraries, Archives and Museums (KAM) (2021–2023) and the Working Group for Defining the Structures and Principles of HR-OOZ (Croatian Open Science Cloud).
