Mag. Vjenceslava Ševaljević
Biography
Vjenceslava Ševaljević is a librarian advisor. She graduated in 1989 from the Faculty of Arts in Sarajevo at the department for German language and literature. She completed her post-graduate degree for librarianship and information sciences at the Department for Librarianship at the University of Zadar. Since 1997, she has been working at the National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević” in Cetinje. At the moment, she is the head of the department for information systems and digitisation, a part of which is also the National COBISS Centre of Montenegro. Between 2004 and 2008, she was the president of the managing board of the National library of Montenegro. Since 2008, she has been a member of the committee for granting shared cataloguing licences. From 2009 to 2011, she has acted as the secretary of the Montenegrin Association of Librarians and is now a member of the managing board of this association. Between 2012 and 2018 she was a member of the Commission for taking the professional librarianship exam. She participated in numerous international and domestic meetings in the area of librarianship and information sciences, where she presented the results of the Virtual Library of Montenegro project and the digitisation of library material.
