Biography

Ajda Zavrtanik Drglin is a Master of Mathematics and an application programmer, employed in the Information Solutions Department of the National and University Library (NUK). She leads the project series From Manuscript to Word, which intertwines artificial intelligence and community building based on the work of interested volunteers through the recognition of manuscripts of Slovenian authors whose legacy is preserved by the NUK. Her main focus is the ethical, meaningful and worker-centered integration of artificial intelligence into the work processes of the NUK, and she also led the work group for artificial intelligence. She is a nominee for the Engineer of the Year and Ona365 for 2025.
