Biography

Sandra Grajfoner, who holds a bachelor’s degree in library science, is a librarian – editor at the Centre for the Acquisition and Cataloguing of Library Material at the Maribor University Library, where she has been employed since 1995. Since she began working at the Maribor University Library, she has been working with serials, initially in the areas of acquisition and cataloguing, and today as an editor of bibliographic records for continuing resources. Over the past decade, she has devoted much of her attention to digitization and metadata, particularly within the framework of the UKM Digital Repository and the University of Maribor’s Topoteka. Since 2022, she has chaired the UKM Quality Commission and, as its chair, is also a member of the University Quality Assessment Commission. She has also participated in the NSKD working group tasked with developing professional guidelines for the minimum requirements of public library services in academic libraries.
