Sandra Kurnik Zupanič is the head of the Centre for Library Systems and User Services at the Maribor University Library, where she has been employed since 1991. Until mid-2011, her work focused on local history, then on loan and the quality of library services, and in recent years on coordinating the University of Maribor’s library system. She is a member of the Maribor Librarians’ Association, the Slovenian Library Association (ZBDS), and, for a second term, a member of the National Council for Library Activities. She has been a member of various working groups focused on improving services for users and the pay system for Slovenian librarians.
