Simona Marinšek has been employed at the Slovenske Konjice Public Library for 25 years. Since 2009, she has been responsible for the acquisition and cataloguing of library material, preparing tender documentation for the purchase of library material, and compiling various final, analytical, and statistical reports. In her work, she ensures the professional and content-related quality of the library collection and its adaptation to the needs of the local community and contemporary trends in librarianship. She is active in all of the library’s work processes and participates in the implementation of numerous library and related activities, events, and projects. She is also dedicated to promoting digital literacy among users, including the promotion and use of audiobooks and the Audibook platform.
