Igor Andrin has worked as a librarian at the Bežigrad Library (now part of the Ljubljana City Library) since 1999. He is actively involved in the introduction of innovations related to the loan of material. From the introduction of e-book lending at the Bežigrad Library (2009), the complex project of merging Ljubljana’s public libraries, the introduction of the Urban membership card, remote registration, to the introduction of self-checkout counters and parcel boxes. He regularly monitors new developments in the COBISS Loan software and participates in the testing of new services and software solutions related to recording library visits and loan of material in MKL.
