The middle of this year is signified by the launch of lending e-books by the provider COBISS Ela. The new COBISS Ela application allows publishers to upload e-books. The open-source solution Readium is used to protect ePUB files. New options have been developed in COBISS Lib to allow the libraries to add e-books to the library catalogue and to set the conditions for lending e-books. Library members can borrow e-books from COBISS Ela in COBISS+ and the mCOBISS mobile app and read them on a variety of devices.
