The further cooperation between ASHSH and IZUM recently moved to a new phase through the establishment of the Center for the Coordination and Dissemination of Scientific Information (QKPISH) at ASH. This center will lead to the institutionalization of the COBISS.AL and ECRIS.AL information systems as well as the consolidation of the common data network for scientific research and the expansion of the library network in Albania.
QKPISH manages the inclusion, planning and harmonization of activities related to information centers (university libraries, scientific institutions and public libraries) in the COBISS.AL system by implementing international standards in the preparation of scientific information in the digitization process in these institutions.
QKPISH will help provide more information for users and meet their needs to fulfil their mission, as well as encourage the integration of digital content on websites and mobile devices in adaptation to new applications and tools.
