Institute of Information Science (IZUM)
Teodor Veingerl has been involved in planning and development of software and databases, and has been facing other challenges in the IT field for almost four decades. He started his career in the COBISS project – even before the project was given this name and before the Institute of Information Science (IZUM) emerged from the Computer Centre of the University of Maribor (RCUM).
Later he worked in the private sector for almost 30 years, mostly as development head in a company developing customized software and providing information services, including planning and implementation of IT infrastructure, information security, provision of advice, development of complete business information systems and their integration with other software.
In 2018 he returned to his roots and joined IZUM development team as a software and database development architect – every now and then also as an all-rounder in the DevOps group. Currently he is working on the COBISS Cat cataloguing web app development.
In his spare time, he enjoys photography and works on different projects for himself and his friends.
