This presentation will highlight the major new features that were recently added to COBISS Lib (including pickup locations, a redesigned dashboard, COBISS Dex, inventory, the interlibrary loan catalogue, etc.).
Special attention will be given to selected new features and functionalities aimed at improving the user experience, such as user settings, shortcuts, and audio alerts when lending and returning material.
Some technological updates designed to enhance system stability will also be presented. Among them is, for example, a solution where the execution of large-scale reports and data exports with a time delay (scheduled) is performed on a separate server and does not burden the operation of other processes, so such a process can be run during working hours.
COBISS Lib also integrates with various services and standalone applications, so we will also review the new features in COBISS IO, the IZUM self-checkout, etc.
