Andrej Korošec joined IZUM in 1997 immediately after graduating from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Maribor. Due to his expertise in relational databases, he joined the SICRIS Information Service Department in 2000.  Since 2003, he has been the lead developer of the SICRIS web application. He has led all major application upgrades: the transition to the Microsoft .NET environment, the expansion of the application for use within the COBISS.net network, and the transition to an open-source Java environment.
