Tatjana Intihar holds a university degree in Economics. She began her career at the Central Technical Library (CTK) in December 2002 in the Acquisitions Department. Initially, she had worked in the area of acquiring monographs, serials and databases, but very soon, in 2003, she also became involved in the management of library consortia.

Since the beginning of consortium activities at CTK, she has been an active member of the consortium coordination group, which leads negotiations with foreign providers of research information resources. With her expertise and many years of experience, she has contributed to the development and consolidation of consortium activities in the Slovenian research and higher education area.

Over the years, the number of consortia and participating institutions has increased significantly, and with it, the scope of tasks has expanded to include not only the coordination of consortia but also the implementation of public procurement procedures and close cooperation with research organisations and libraries. Since 2017, Tatjana Intihar has been Head of the Acquisitions Department at CTK.
