Luka Blažič holds a Master’s Degree in strategic marketing communication and is a candidate for a Master’s Degree in social informatics at the Faculty of Social Sciences. He has been involved in the professional management of institutions for 20 years, and since 2018 he has been the director of the Miran Jarc Library in Novo Mesto. He currently chairs the Council of the Institute for Innovative Protection of Cultural Heritage, the Supervisory Board of the Faces of Slovenian Regions portal and the group for innovative services at the Association of Public Libraries. Among other things, he is also a member of the IZUM Expert Council. At the same time, he is the father of a seven-year-old son and enjoys camping, sports, as well as fine dining.
